vLoc3 RTK Pro Receiver
Utility Locator
The vLoc3 RTK-Pro receiver is the first to add RTK GNSS accuracy to a utility locator. Using the RTK-Pro internal cellular module with 4G LTE capabilities, the operator has the ability to connect to NTRIP RTK (Real-Time Kinematic ) caster that provides RTCM 3 corrections. By utilizing these corrections, the operator can collect both utility location data along with the geographical location of the utility with survey-grade accuracy.

Locator
The vLoc3-XLF locator uses extra-low frequencies specific for long-line locating. The low frequencies used in the XLF are designed to travel further distances with less coupling onto adjacent lines and be less susceptible to distortion. A few applications ideal for low-frequency locating is long-haul fiber lines, metropolitan loop networks, and pipeline transmission lines.

Utility Locator
Using the correct frequency makes a world of difference when locating buried utilities. The depth of the utility, size, material, and amount of congestion (proximity of other utilities) all need to be taken into consideration for the correct frequency selection. Large diameter, direct buried pipes with bell housing ends that use insulators and rubber gaskets, such as water or gas require a higher frequency while smaller diameter, well-grounded direct buried or long distance in conduits work, better with a lower frequency.

Fault Locator
Finding the location of an underground cable fault just became easier with the VM-510FFL+ Standalone A-frame locator. Now locating a suspect cable and finding the fault can be done with the VM-510FFL+ and a compatible transmitter. There is no longer a need for a separate utility locator with cables connecting to it. After connecting a compatible transmitter to the line and placing it in a Fault-Find mode, use the simple to operate four button controls of the VM-510FFL+ to locate and stay on the cable path while pinpointing the sheath or ground fault.

Service Drop Locator & Metal Detector
The VM-585 is a combination of the popular VM-550 utility locator with the added benefit of a built in Ferrous Metal Detector. This makes it ideal for locating short distance runs such as service drops and to detect buried ferrous metal objects such as buried valve box covers, buried tanks, and manhole covers.
The advanced filtering of the VM-585‘s metal detector rejects materials such as bottle caps and aluminum cans and zeros in on finding only ferrous materials. The manual gain control allows it to be controlled and able to work close to large metal objects such as automobiles and chain link fences while still looking for the targets underground. The VM-585 will locate through asphalt, concrete, or grass and in temporary conditions such as snow.

Ferrous Metal Detector
In our ever-changing landscape, important assets are buried or paved over making finding for them both difficult and time consuming. Valve and manhole covers are often lost after ground work activities, re-surfacing or after heavy snow falls. Buried boundary markers can also be difficult to find.
Most of these items are manufactured using magnetic or ferrous materials. These can be detected using the VM-880. As it detects only ferrous materials, aluminum cans, bottle caps, etc. are rejected.
